Athlone Fashion Trail

Hi everyone, how is it October already? Where has 2016 gone!!
There was no better way to begin the month than attending the Athlone Fashion Trail. As some of you will remember I attended the Galway Fashion Trail earlier on in the year and absolutely loved it so I knew I would really enjoy this one too. It was organised by the lovely Saibh and Sinéad from Into The West Blogger Network.

Just like at the Galway Fashion Trail, we were treated to an exclusive Blogger Breakfast at Colm Quinn BMW to kick-start the day and to meet & chat with everyone.
There was a stunning spread put on for us and we were treated like royalty yet again.
Being chauffeur driven into the town in their amaaaazing cars was the perfect start to the day!

 Kadee Bride

Our first showcase of the day was in Kadee Bride. The interior of the shop was so visually pleasing and gave me some serious interior envy!

These healthy snacks were to die for!!!

Just a small variety of the stunning bridal gowns available at Kadee Bride.

We literally never say no to a selfie.

I love hanging out with my ITWBN buds!

Burgess

Burgess in Athlone is a fab department store which caters for both men and women. The fashion is quite mature for me, but they also pulled out some really stunning pieces. My fave looks are this pastel pink coat and the fabulous suit (below).

Olivia Danielle

Our fashion trail then led us onto Olivia Danielle. I was super excited to see what they had to show as I've followed them on Instagram for months and absolutely love their diverse/trendy stock!

Loooove this contrast bomber!

I'm so obsessed with blush pinks and rose pink tones lately. This was my favourite Olivia Danielle outfit! So well styled and I love the dressy/laidback feel!!

 Athlone Town Centre

Our next stop was to check out the fashion shows in Athlone Town Centre!
Adore this stunning H&M dress. So classy!

Neeeeeed need need. Can't deal with the fab embellishment.

This was my own simple/casual outfit for the day

We had the loveliest lunch with a great view thanks to The Fatted Calf.

Nell's Closet

This shop in particular was a complete stand-out for me. They had the most beautiful occasion wear. I know where I'll be headed the next time I need a "Wow" dress.

Some absolutely showstopping pieces that you will definitely stand out in.
They were my fave looks and stores from the day at The Athlone Fashion Trail.
I'm so happy that I attended. ITWBN events are never a fail. We always enjoy ourselves so much!
Athlone I will be back!

Thank you so much to Saibh and Sinéad of ITWBN.
Thank you to our various sponsors.
Thank you to the girls from Galway Now magazine for their trojan work.
Thank you to the Fatted Calf and Radisson Blu hotel for filling us up and keeping our energy levels up.

What a day...

Student Accommodation - The Essentials

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well.
Congrats to everyone who has got college offers this week, I know how fantastic it feels!! And to those who didn't, it's not the end of the world. There are so many different life paths and options these days.

Image result for STARTING COLLEGE

I couldn't be happier and prouder to announce that after a long but worthwhile year out, I am finally heading off to college! I got my No.1 choice, Arts International in University College Cork (UCC).
Everything is coming together pretty quickly now that I have a place in college. I am moving down to Cork this Friday (whaaaat?).  I was lucky enough to get a place in Brookfield Student Village, so I am essentially moving into a new home.

Ladies Day Best Dressed Event at Galway Halo

Hi everyone, what a crazy busy summer I've been having.
Sorry I've been so absent on my blog. Keep an eye out for what I'm up to on my Instagram : @orangeobviouslyy & my snapchat : @cloddscan.

It's so hard to believe that the summer is nearly over, and with the whole country receiving their Leaving Cert results yesterday, I am left reeling with them all wondering if I will get offered my chosen college course. Pray for me, offers are out on Monday!!

So, you will  remember a couple of weeks ago, I was reunited with my ITWBN blogger buds again for the Ladies Day "Dress to Impress" event in Halo Galway. It was such a fantastic evening and night. One of the judges on the night was the fabulous Rozanna Purcell and we got to

Vesper 24/7

Hi everyone, happy hump day!
It's the middle of the week already and closer to the weekend. (Jealous of all of you heading to see Queen Béy this weekend)
It's sooo hard to believe that it is the 6th of July already, am I right?

But having said that, we are right in the heart of the wedding/races season, so I've put together this post of two pieces from the brand Vesper 247 which are fabulous for either occasion!

The Dress

I absolutely love this dress!! First impressions are everything for me when it comes to fitted midi dresses. I find some can be hard to move in and you would almost feel wedged in it for the whole day.. And again, if you are wearing a dress for an occasion such as a wedding or the races, you want to be comfortable for hours on your feet. Upon fitting this Vesper dress on for the first time, I was surprised at how stretchy, soft ad extremely comfy it was. It's very easy to get around in and you can just tell it is top quality!
It's also extremely flattering and you can never go wrong with navy to suit all skin and hair colours!
I also couldn't resist that off-the-shoulder look!

I am lusting over the mint/white band! It really cinches you in at the waste and that pop of colour brings back the summer vibes!! I loved matching it perfectly with a mint clutch bag and white block heels..

The Skirt

For this look I decided to go with something a little different. I put a really strange colour combo together, and surprisingly it worked. I reckon it would be a stunning look for an August wedding, when all those purples and burgundy colours begin to take over again! Also who doesn't love the midi skater skirts? Super flattering on everybody, as well as screaming of class and elegance!

The skirt is also now in the sale (down to only £15 - steal!!!) . Buy it here : https://vesper247.com/products/vesper-klaudine-full-50s-style-skirt
